The postpartum support you're looking for in Northern Virginia and the DMV area.
Parenthood is exciting and exhausting, often at the same time. As a Certified Postpartum Doula, my mission is to ease your transition into this new chapter with expert overnight care, meal planning, and support that lets you actually enjoy your newborn.

Expert care in Virginia & THE DMV area
Stacy Gross, BCPD, ncs
Before becoming a Certified Postpartum Doula, I spent nearly 20 years as a newborn care specialist, providing childcare and nanny services to families across the Fairfax County area.
Over the years, I've built lasting bonds with families, some of whom I've supported since their infants' earliest days.
I've also worked closely with children who have diverse needs and am skilled in enteral feeding, making sure each child gets the care and nutrition they need.
Originally from North Carolina, I've called Burke, Virginia, home for more than 20 years. I share my life with my husband, two sons - one in high school and the other a college graduate - and our beautiful, sometimes naughty golden retriever.
When I'm not caring for others, you'll usually find me baking, curled up with a good book, or enjoying time with my family - especially over my son Noah's grilled ribeyes.
How i can support you
Becoming a parent is a huge life transition, and you don't have to navigate those early weeks alone. As your postpartum doula, I provide practical, hands-on support and guidance tailored to your family's needs.
- Newborn care - Hands-on support with soothing, diapering, burping, bathing, and establishing routine
- Overnight support - Helping care for your baby overnight so you can get the rest you need
- Feeding support - Guidance and encouragement with breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and combination feeding
- Postpartum recovery support - Creating space for you to rest, recover, and adjust to life with your new baby
- Emotional support - A compassionate, judgement-free listening ear as you navigate the transition into parenthood
- Light household support - Baby and family laundry, dishes, bottle and pump-part cleaning, and refreshing linens
- Meal support - Light meal planning and preparation to help keep you nourished during those early weeks
- Parent education - Practical Information and guidance to help you feel more confident caring for your baby
My goal is to make those early weeks feel calmer, easier, and more supported.

A little about my journey...
Your Comfort, My Purpose
Becoming a certified postpartum doula means everything to me, personally and professionally.
It's about giving new parents the support I wish I'd had.
After each of my children was born, I struggled with the baby blues.
Sleep deprivation, breastfeeding hurdles, and not enough support left my husband and me overwhelmed in those first few weeks.
That's why I'm so passionate about caring for new parents when they need it most.
